器は使われて初めて完成するという流儀で、
用の美・美の用を目指して制作しています。

薪窯による、灰被り、い草火襷や炎の緋色による、温かみのある手作りの器を制作しています。

作品は、一つ一つ手作りし、薪窯にて制作しておりますので、
緋色の入り方や、灰が多く被ったものから少ないものと、
それぞれの作品の風合いが異なりますことを、どうぞご理解ください。

Each and every vessel is an original hand crafted work of art; no two are the same.
They are born of a collaboration between the hand of the artist and the forces of nature.
All of my work is wood fired and, through the caprice of
flame, the pattern of scarlet flashing,
rush marks and wood ash deposits vary from piece to
piece.
I trust that you understand and appreciate this
serendipity which expresses the voice of nature in the art of the human hand.
